Multiple exposures involve the superimposition of two or more images. Double exposures (two images superimposed) has an especially long history in photography as you will discover when you dig into the subject on the internet.This exploration is limited to any number of multiple exposures achieved IN-CAMERA using a DLSR, mirrorless, smart phone or film camera. Most DLSR and mirrorless cameras should have a multiple or double exposure option built into the operating system.
However, if this is not an option, then you can use a very simple application such as SNAPSEED available for (iOS or Android) on your cell phone.
