As part of the OCC annual general meeting there is a vote on the incoming slate of the executive board.
At present there are three vacancies on the board:
Treasurer: Responsible for maintaining the OCC's books, participate strategic planning for the club and with other board members' assistance, if required, lead the Oakville Arts Council grant process and identify other grant opportunities.
Challenge Director: Organize the photo challenges which are held three times a year with help from the Challenges Committee. Collate and organize images from the challenges email box and work with the judges to document the scores for each photo. The Challenge Director also leads the Challenge Results meetings with assistance from the judges that participated.
Ambassador Director: This is a new role on the board. The OCC Ambassador program was designed to assist members with different skill levels with technical questions, each Ambassador has particular knowledge area be it camera brand, photographic style and post processing know-how along as being a go to for club information. The Ambassador Director will have the ambassadors as his/her committee.
