Meet in the historic limestone village of Elora, a noted tourist attraction, with a famous waterfall called the Tooth of Time, overlooked by an old mill, numerous small shops and art galleries. Located on the Grand River, the Elora Mill is Ontario's only remaining five-story mill and has been renovated as a prestigious inn and restaurant. Elora is also famous for its unique shops and its quaint cafes and restaurants, which lie along the river's scenic edge.
An option available to the more adventurous will be to photograph the spectacular Elora Gorge at the western edge of the village, adjacent to the Elora Gorge Conservation Area. At the eastern end of the village is the Elora Quarry Conservation Area, including a scenic former limestone quarry.

2:00 - 4:00 PM - Culinary Tour “Optional”
Previous OCC events sold out, so book early and come join us for a guided stroll through the streets of historic Elora and enjoy the culinary delights found there.  During the Culinary Tour you will sample specially created dishes at various locally owned and operated restaurants and shops while learning about the history and architecture of the area.  This organized walking tour brings together food, history and architecture in a unique and fun way.

Local free parking is available.
For those wishing to explore the gorge, entry into the Elora Gorge Conservation Area may be required, with day-use access fees of $6.50 per person being applicable.

What to Wear:
With spring weather upon us, we suggest a layered approach to your clothing, as it may be cooler in the morning, and warming up as the day goes on. Wear comfortable and supportive footwear, i.e. hiking shoes/boots are highly recommended if you plan to venture down into the Elora Gorge.

What to Bring:
Water, camera, wide angle and telephoto/zoom lenses, filters, memory cards, tripod or monopod. Bear in mind this is an urban walk so it pays to plan your gear choices accordingly.
What to Expect:
Since this Outing is geared more to an urban walk, it is not considered difficult, however, depending on your interests, and level of adventure, hiking down into the Elora Gorge will present you with more challenging terrain.
