Join the OCC as we take our meeting outdoors!  We will be meeting at a location to be confirmed in downtown Oakville and will break off in groups along with a mentor to photograph the Streets of Oakville - which just happens to tie into our "Streets Of Oakville" category for our 2018 Capture Oakville competition.

We will then all meet back at another location to be confirmed at approximately 8pm to share how our street photography went.  We are also working with a local camera store to hopefully arrange a "Show and Tell" presentation.

Final location details will be shared as soon as possible but please mark this date on your calendars for our first Cameras and Beers outing!

Join the OCC as we welcome Club and Board member Jared Fein and his presentation on photomicroscopy.

There is so much in our immediate world that our eyes cannot see, but which can be revealed  and captured through photomicroscopy.

By mounting a camera on a microscope, this amazing unseen world can provide countless opportunities to capture stunning images of things we mortals could otherwise not imagine.

Tonight’s presentation will provide an introduction and overview of this area of photography, in which Jared will share a number of his images ranging from living microorganisms to other interesting everyday objects, then will dazzle you all with some of the best award winning photomicrographs from Nikon’s annual Small World photography competition.
