Capture Oakville Categories

The Photography Competition features up to six-(6) categories, each with specific subject matter and criteria to challenge and inspire the artistic and technical capabilities of the photographers entering the competition.

Capture Oakville is a major juried photo competition using judges qualified under the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts (CAPA).

Capture Oakville
The Streets of Oakville

An image that captures and demonstrates the interaction of people and their behaviours in public places within Oakville where you capture a realistic ‘decisive moment.’

Though people usually feature directly, street photography might be absent of people and can be of an object or environment within Oakville where the imagery projects a decidedly human character in facsimile or aesthetic.
